Definition of Digit

  • A Digit is a symbol used to write the numbers.
  • Symbols 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 are used to write numbers and are called digits.

More about Digit

  • 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 are called single Digit numbers.
  • 10, 11, 12, 13 . . . 99 are called 2-digit numbers.
  • 101, 102 . . . 999 are called 3-digit numbers and so on.
