  • Center of a Circle is the point inside the circle, from which all points on the Circle are the same distance.
     

Examples of Center

  • In the figure shown, O is the Center of the circle. A, B, C, and D are points on the circle.

Identify the Center of the circle shown in the figure.

 

Choices:

C. C

D. D         

Correct Answer: C

Solution:

Step 1: Among the points shown in the figure, C seems to be the point that is equidistant from all the points on the circle.

Step 2: So, C is the Center of the circle.
