What iCM features are included in the "Free Trial"?	Top
Free Trial Users have limited basic level access to ICM. Free Trial Access limits trial members to a real-time progress report, one interactive worksheet per lesson along with step-by-step solutions. Additional interactive worksheet sessions and all other ICM features can only be accessed by paid subscribers otherwise these features will not be accessible to free trial users.

How do I close my subscription?	Top
Subscribed users can close their accounts. Please follow the instructions below: By terminating your account, you will lose access to your iCoachMath Id, We will also delete your work history and settings. Subscription amount cannot be REFUNDED from the unused days. •Login •Click on Contact Us at the bottom of the page •Under SUBSCRIPTIONS, choose unsubscribe to send a message to Customer Care requesting for closure of your account.

How does iCoachMath help teachers?	Top
iCoachMath helps teachers to Create and print worksheets from any Internet enabled computer. Create customized test papers with the help of a few keystrokes and get answers along with step-by-step solutions. Create several versions of template test papers to prevent cheating. iCM helps teachers to manage and monitor students in virtual classrooms, upload homework/classwork to student accounts. iCM is a viable option to recommend to parents in need of after-school math help for their children.

Can I use iCoachMath from any Internet enabled computer?	Top

Using iCoachMath

I see a list of lessons in the “Lesson” area. What are they?	Top
The lessons shown correspond to the particular math topic you have selected. To create a worksheet for a particular lesson, click on that lesson.

When I click on a lesson, math player window opens. What do I do?	Top
For proper display of questions you need math player plug in. Install the math player when the window prompts you to do so.

I have created worksheet on fractions. Fractions are not displayed properly?	Top
You have to install math player plug in for fractions to display properly.

What is “Progress Report”?	Top
If you click on “Progress Report Button” It gives the list of lessons you have attempted, Total time taken to work on that particular lesson, Total Worksheets attempted from that lesson, Total Score obtained for all the worksheet, Average score obtained per worksheet, and Average time taken to complete each worksheet. It also provides you the solutions for incorrectly answered questions and suggestion on what lesson you should practice based on earlier performance.

How do I create Test Paper?	Top
From "My Work Area,” click on the “Test Paper” button. It will show a list of lessons for the particular grade and curriculum. Enter the number of question you need in the box corresponding to the lesson. You can choose a maximum of 15 questions either from one lesson or from the given list. Click on “Test Paper” button.

How do I change my password?	Top
The password can be changed easily by just clicking on "My Profile" link and giving a new password there and clicking on "Submit" button.

GETTING STARTED

How do I register?	Top
Go to www.icoachmath.com using a web browser and click on the Subscription Packages to find the subscription that is right for you or sign-up for the free trial. Please fill in all the required fields.A confirmation email with your user id and password is sent to your email account. Please check your email for your login information. You are now a registered user of iCoachMath.com. icoachMath will automatically download Math Player on your PC, but if it is not downloaded automatically then it will prompt you to download it .Please download Math Player in order to view Math symbols, charts, and graphics on iCoachMath.com.

Can I try out iCoachMath before becoming a member?	Top
Yes. We offer all students a limited free trial in the Student Zone. Students are limited to one interactive worksheet per lesson and do not have access to multiple interactive worksheets, test papers, email tutoring, and all other iCoachMath.com features.We also offer free trial to teachers as well as those who are preparing for exams like GMAT/SAT.

I have just registered as a new user. However, I have not received a confirmation email from iCoachMath.com?	Top
Click on “Login problem?” button below the User id and password box. Enter either your email id or user id. Click on “submit” button. Your username and password will be emailed to you. If you still do not receive a confirmation email, then there may be an error in the email id that you have entered during registration. We request you to register once again.

Can I print the worksheets of a lesson in order to work the problems on paper?	Top
Yes. You can print a worksheet in order to work the problems on paper. Once a worksheet is created for a particular lesson, click on the printer icon. The worksheet is ready to be printed.

Can I print a completed worksheet in order to have a hard copy of my answers?	Top
No. You cannot print a completed worksheet, but you can view them as they are archived in your online progress report.

E-Mail Tutoring

How do students get help from from Email tutor?	Top
Paid subscribers can submit detailed questions regarding the concept or math problems they are having difficulty with. A qualified math tutor will respond to the questions. Email tutors typically respond within 2 hours.

PARENTS

Why does iCoachMath.com sometimes give additional topics that have not been covered in class or that are too challenging for the grade level?	Top
At iCoachMath, we do not believe that a student’s ability should be limited to the curriculum of their grade level. iCoachMath allows students to learn at their own pace and reach higher levels than what is expected in school. We have some students who are trying lessons in higher-grade levels and we also have students who are practicing Math on lower grade levels for practice.

How can I view my child’s progress report?	Top
You can create an account of your own where in you can check the details of your child’s progress or the same information can be sent to you through email if you opt for that option. Or Using your child’s User id and Password, login to www.icoachmath.com. In “My Work Area” Please click on 'Progress Report'.

If my child is using iCoachMath through his teacher, can I access his progress report from home?	Top
YES. You can create an account of your own where in you can check the details of your child’s progress or the same information can be sent to you through email if you opt for that option. Or Using your child’s user ID and password, login to www.icoachmath.com. In “My Work Area” click on 'Progress Report'.

Can I obtain a summarized progress report that compares a child’s progress (i.e., beginning of year vs. end of the year)?	Top
The ‘Progress Report’ on iCoachMath. Com is very comprehensive and detailed. You will surely be able to track the progress of your child.

My child is in the 6th grade, but his/her skills are at a 4th grade level. Or, my child is gifted and his/her skillset is at a much higher level.	Top

iCM is not an instructional/curriculum tool, but acts as a strong supplement to any curriculum or instructional program.

I am a school administrator. How do I get iCM for my school?	Top
iCM offers a free pilot to schools without any obligation to help administrators determine if iCM is a good fit for their school. If a school wishes to adopt iCM, then pricing will depend on the variables of the schools (# of students, length of contract, etc.). Teacher accounts are provided at no charge to schools that purchase iCM. Please contact sales@icoachmath.com for more information.

What is the process for setting up a free pilot in my school?	Top
Please email us the student lists of your school in an Excel format. The lists must include teacher names and corresponding class periods. Virtual classrooms will be set-up for all the students and teachers will be trained at no charge. In cases where an iCM trainer is not present, we will perform training via web or audio conference at no charge or provide step-by-step training materials.

Does our information remain confidential?	Top
iCM does not distribute or sell private information. Please read our privacy policy for details.

I have 600 students in my school. Is it okay to purchase 300 accounts and have students share their accounts?	Top
iCM does not accommodate shared accounts for school or home accounts. A school is required to purchase accounts for every student. If students share accounts, then the vital progress report data becomes skewed and is rendered useless for monitoring class and student progress.

Can students access their school account at home?	Top
School accounts are set-up to accessible only during school hours. Students may access their school account at home, but they will only be able to view homework assignments from their teacher. We encourage parents to purchase a home account for students. A home subscription offers students unlimited access to iCM and all its features including interactive practice and Email tutoring. Home subscriptions are substantially discounted for students that have an iCM school account.

Can teachers access their school account at home?	Top
Yes. The FREE teacher accounts are accessible 24/7 in order to help teachers work at home if necessary.

Technical Difficulties

How do I check if I am connected to Internet?	Top
Open a new browser window. Type the URL of any known website. Check if the homepage for that website address appears.

I am not able to login to iCoachMath?	Top
Please make sure that you are using your correct User ID and Password during login. User Ids and Passwords are case sensitive, so please make sure your “Caps Lock” key isn’t on.

The text size in iCoachMath page is very large?	Top
iCoachMath is best viewed when your internet explorer is set to medium text size and your monitor display properties is set to 1024 by 768 pixels.

How do I change the Text Size to Medium?	Top
Select the view drop down menu at the top of the Internet Explorer web browser followed by the text size option, a small sub menu will appear where you have the option to change the text size to medium.

How do I change my Monitor Display settings to 1024 by 768 pixels?	Top
Close all the browsers windows. Go to the desktop screen. Do not point the arrow of the mouse on any icon. Right click on the mouse. Scroll down to properties and click on properties. Click on settings tab. Change the pointer to 1024 by 768 pixels in the “screen area” box. Click on apply. A confirmation window appears. Click ok.

I do not have 1024 by 768 pixels option in screen area box?	Top
If you are using an old monitor this option is not available. You can set your display setting to next best option of 800 by 600 pixels.

As I was browsing through iCoachMath, the page became frozen. What do I do?	Top
If the page does not change after you click on any button, wait for a few minutes. If the new page does not open, please close the browser and open a new one.

I get “page not found” message when I type the URL ‘www.icoachmath.com’?	Top
Please check if you are connected to the Internet.

What are the technology requirements for iCM to run properly?	Top
iCM runs best on Internet Explorer version 5.5 or higher. To find out the version you are using: Open your browser –Click “Help” – Click “About Internet Explorer”- You will see the IE version

What is Math Player?	Top
Math Player is a FREE downloadable software that allows users to view mathematical symbols, such as fractions, charts, and pi.
