Acute Angle

Definition of An Acute Angle

  • Acute angle is an angle that measures between 0 and 90 degrees.

 

Examples of An Acute Angle

  • Any angle between 0 and 90 degrees is an acute angle.

7°, 30°, 41°, 60°, 67.6°, 73°, 89° etc. are all acute angles.

                       

Solved Example on Acute Angle

Identify one or more acute angles in the figure shown.

Solution:

Step 1:  It can be observed from the graph that angles AOB, BOC, COD, and BOD are acute.
